Hardly solvable task for the ice pirates

And the ice pirates have to work again.
Dorfen - For the third time within a week, the puck hunters of the ESC Dorfen have to play a point game on the ice, and the task this evening (8 p.m.) at third in the table TSV Peißenberg is unlikely to be solvable for the ice pirates in view of the injuries and illness-related failures.
The Miners from Peißenberg, who last gave the Erding Gladiators 7-1 in the catch-up game at home and 6-5 in the second leg after extra time, are currently bursting with self-confidence and are among the top trio of the league with 44 points. Even leaders EHC Klostersee gave up the Pfaffenwinkler with 1: 0 in Grafing and 5: 4 after a penalty on their own ice.
Although top scorer Dominic Krabbat only switched back to the top division EC Peiting a few weeks ago, coach Christian Kratzmeir has a high quality and balanced team. Not least because the Krabbat gap was closed immediately with Dejan Vogl, who came back from Füssen. Ex-Miesbacher Athanasios Fissekis is in fifth place in the league with 41 points, while the Czech Tomas Rousek, who came from Waldkraiburg, is ninth with 40 points. Goalkeeper Korbinian Sertl, together with defenders Maximilian Malzatzki and Dominik Ebentheuer, is one of the cornerstones on the defensive.
At the start of the league, ESC Dorfen had to bow with 2: 4 goals after a 2: 2 up to more than half of the game time at the end. In the meantime, the personal situation at the Ice Pirates remains extremely tense. After his shoulder joint splintering, which he suffered during the game in Königsbrunn, Christoph Obermaier - on the mediation of trainer Franz Steer - was operated on by one of the doctors from the Star Bulls medical department yesterday in Rosenheim and is out for the rest of the season.
In addition, several injured and corona sick players are only in the rehabilitation stage and were only able to train lightly this week.
If things go well and at least Tomas Vrba is fit again after shoulder and hand problems, there are 15 field players available for today's difficult game - four defenders and eleven forwards.
Seen in this way, the Dorfeners would be happy today as outsiders with a respectable performance and no further injuries.
