The SV Pulling's online donation campaign was a complete success: More than 5000 euros were raised for Odo Weyerer's Medmobil.

Freising

- The Freising doctor Dr.

Odo Weyerer, who provides free medical care for the homeless and people without health insurance with his Medmobil, has received another generous donation: During an online donation campaign before Christmas, SV Pulling collected a whopping 5310 euros for Weyerer's aid project.

The area of application of the Medmobil has expanded

As the doctor said when the second chairwoman Claudia Humplmaier and secretary Victoria Humplmaier handed over the money, he could use the proud sum very well. Because of media reports and the increasing level of awareness that goes with them, the area of application for him and his Medmobil has recently expanded. As an example, he cited the Catholic Men's Welfare Association, which has 63 places in Gelbersdorf. This would increase the cost of petrol, but also the cost of other resources that Weyerer needs in his ambulance. Not to forget the laboratory that the doctor wants to set up in the Medmobil. Among other things, Weyerer regularly drives to homeless shelters to vaccinate their residents against the corona virus.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Claudia Humplmaier attributes the fact that so much money has now been raised to the support of her daughter Victoria and the helpfulness of the members of the association as well as the citizens of Pulling and Achering.

At SV Pulling's Christmas celebrations, money has always been collected for a good cause.

Since this has not been possible since Corona, she and her daughter developed the idea of trying online.

That worked out well last year when the “WeKickCorona” aid project launched by Bayern soccer professionals Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka was supported.

SV Pulling: Fundraising campaign exceeded all expectations

"But that has exceeded all expectations," said the SVP vice-manager happily.

"There are so many people in the district who need help," said Claudia Humplmaier.

"And we are really grateful that so many people trust us and donate money."
