The Syrian national team player for physical strength, Ahmed Abdullah, won four different medals (a silver and three bronze) in the Libya International Championship, with the wide participation of Asian and African teams.
Abdullah won the silver of the chest, the bronze of the squat, the bronze of the vault, and the bronze of the overall total with a weight of 105 kg.
The President of the Game Federation, Ziad Muhammad, explained in a statement to SANA that the tournament is witnessing strong competitions due to the participation of African champions and world champions in it, pointing out that our players drew attention with their high performance and discipline in the tournament, noting at the same time that the number of medals is expected to increase, especially in weight competitions above 120 kg.
Our national team player, Ayham Barghouth, won second place yesterday in the 74 kg weight competition, after he won a gold by lifting the chest and three silvers by lifting squats, kisses and total.
