Boston (19:17) - Phoenix (8:27)
The Celtics, who came into the game without Jason Taitum in the Corona Protocol, impressed and interrupted a streak of three losses. The Suns, on the other hand, are counting on a third loss in the last four games and are no longer close to Golden State at the Western Summit. After a tight start, the Celtics took control of the game and Jaylen Brown's dunk set 20:32 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter the green run continued, and in the break the Celtics led 41:67. The Suns tried to challenge as Cameron Johnson shrank to 12 points about five minutes to go, but it was too little and too late.
For the Celtics, who shared just eight players, seven players scored a double-digit amount of points, with Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart topping the list, contributing 24 points each. Robert Williams surprised with a triple-double of 10 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. All the Suns' top five players scored in double digits, but that was not enough to prevent a disappointing loss.Davin Booker scored 22 points, Chris Paul came close to a double-double with 14 points and eight assists.
