Jürgen Klopp missed the Premier League top game of his Liverpool FC at Chelsea on Sunday due to suspected corona infection.
The 54-year-old coach is suspected of having a positive corona test result, Liverpool announced on New Year's Day.
Klopp is "in isolation" with "mild symptoms".
In the top duel of the English football championship of Third Liverpool at Second Chelsea with coach Thomas Tuchel this Sunday (5.30 p.m.), Klopp is missing according to the club.
The 54-year-old will be represented by his assistant Pepijn Lijnders.
Criticism of the officials
In the past few weeks, Klopp had repeatedly pointed out the dangers of the corona virus and criticized the league officials.
It was only on Friday that Liverpool announced three more corona cases within the team.
Klopp did not mention the names of those affected.
“It's like a morning lottery waiting for the result.
It's not that cool right now, ”Klopp had said.
