One of the owners of Hapoel Tel Aviv, Zeev Greenberg, was supposed to leave the team at the end of last season, for NIS 2.5 million for the 25% ownership he has.
The same deal did not materialize, but it is possible that very soon the owner will sell his share.
"Israel Today" has learned for the first time that recently the businessman Ofer Chibutro was offered to take ownership of the club and in fact replace Greenberg.
Chibutro, who specializes in plastics, is a friend of Sharon Nisnov, one of the club's other owners.
A source at Hapoel Tel Aviv said in response that: "It is not certain that Chibutro will become the owner, but he may be a sponsor."
