Argentina is following with concern the condition of Lionel Messi, who contracted Corona as it became clear yesterday (Sunday).
A PSG star who has been visiting his homeland for the past few days is apparently not suffering from symptoms, but will not be able to return to France until he has a negative PCR test.
In an official PSG announcement released yesterday, it was revealed that three players besides Messi had contracted the omicron strain, but Messi apparently contracted it when he was alone while in Argentina.
Local media claim that he became infected during the Christmas party he spent, and pointed an accusing finger at a specific person - the network celebrity and DJ Per Palacio, who was photographed with Messi at the same party.
Palacio reportedly attended the party and socialized with Messi even though a few days earlier he had received a message that he had come in contact with a verified patient, and was supposed to be in solitary confinement.
In the hours after the announcement of Messi's infection, he fell victim to abusive messages and threats on social media from fans.

"I woke up in the morning and discovered dozens of abusive messages and threats. My name ran on Twitter claiming I was the one who caught up with Messi. They even called me a killer, wished me horrible and terrible wishes," he said in a video he uploaded in response, in which he tried to provide explanations.
"Before I got to the party I made sure I was not positive. I did nothing wrong, and I feel I am being attacked for nothing."
Palacio also posted a tweet to Twitter with a photo proving that he was found negative in a Corona test he conducted in recent days, under the caption: "No I glued Messi."

Either way, in France it is estimated that the flea will return to activity sooner than expected.
It turns out that Messi received the positive answer already a few days ago and stuck even before the start of the new year, so he progressed in the period of isolation required of him.
It is estimated that Messi will be on the Paris Saint-Germain squad for the game against Brest on the 15th of the month.
