Danny Abdia after his season-high record against Utah (Wizards official website)
Danny Abdia is celebrating his 21st birthday today (Monday), with the Israeli Wizards' Israeli forward in a good period in the NBA and in a constant trend of improvement.
In recent weeks all over the league have been complimenting Abdia’s improving defense and noting how he is repeatedly entrusted by coach Wes Ansald Jr. in defending the rival’s top quality and senior players.
This year Abdia averages 7.3 points per game in 22.8 minutes, 45 percent from the field and 31 percent from the three, in addition to 5.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.8 blocks per game.
In the last ten games his stats have improved, with 10.1 points per game on 49 percent from the field and 5.6 rebounds per game in 26.6 minutes.
This is an improvement trend compared to last season, his first, in which he scored 6.3 points per game in 41.7 percent from the field, when last year his plus-minus balance was 1.5 -, while this year it is 1.5 +.

The comparison with Omri Caspi is interesting.
Caspi made his NBA debut at the age of 21 and four months in the Sacramento uniform.
His first game, in which he came off the bench, he finished with 15 points.
In his rookie season he had a game in which he scored 24 points against the Lakers, who later in the season won the championship.
He was selected to play for the Rockies this weekend at the All-Star Week.
Caspi finished his first season averaging 10.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, with 44.6 percent shooting from the field (36.9 percent from three) in 25 minutes on average.
It should be noted that Sacramento was not a factor this season, finishing it with a 57:25 balance.
Caspi finished the post-season, at age 22, averaging 8.6 points and 41 percent from the field and 4.3 rebounds.
