After a tired start, Gebensbach's coach gives his players a leg up.
In the end there is an 11: 3 victory over Schongau.
Gebensbach
- The puck hunters of ESV Gebensbach have expanded their winning streak.
11: 3 (2: 2, 7: 0, 2: 1) they dealt with EA Schongau 1b.
It was victory number six in the sixth game.
However, things didn't go smoothly at first.
“There was a real run-in from the trainer,” said sports director Klaus Killiy about the first break in the dressing room. Heinz Zerres could not be satisfied at all with the performance up until then. In minutes five and seven, Daniel Down and Patrick Beham had given two hundred percent scoring opportunities. Then the ESV game became more erratic and sloppy. The only two penalties were there until the break against ESV, and the guests used them to hit. 16 seconds after the 0: 2 defender Rudi Mayer scored the connection goal in the center forward position. Another 25 seconds later, the last minute before the break, Patrick Samanski surprised goalie Christopher Sievers with a rather harmless low shot to make it 2-2.
Anyone who comes back into the game like this shouldn't overstrain their luck.
With the restart, the Gebensbachers could only be recognized by their jerseys.
For the guests from the Pfaffenwinkel with a wide range of ages from 20 to 42 years everything was going too fast.
With determination, an aggressive underplay and high effectiveness, the ESV scored hit after hit to the intermediate result of 9: 2 in the next cabin aisle.
Without penalty times it was not possible in these second 20 minutes with four suspensions against ESV and three against the guests.
The ESV had scored three hits in the shortfall and one in the majority.
The home team also took a numerical advantage into the final third, but not the virtues they had previously demonstrated.
The guests, for whom Jan Richter, who belongs to the Bayern league squad, has been guarding the goal since conceding goal number eight, managed a hit in the majority and the ESV did not achieve much for it.
In the last two minutes, the Gebensbacher pressed the gas pedal again with two lightning hits.
