Is the revolution in world football approaching by leaps and bounds?
After FIFA's offer to hold a World Cup every two years, now the organization's president, Gianni Infantino, has revealed that the possibility of holding the Euro in the same format is being examined.
"If the World Cup can be held every two years, so can the Euro," Inpatino said in an interview with Italian media.
As mentioned, the proposal regarding the World Cup was quite revolutionary and upset the whole football world and especially the UEFA, which is strongly opposed to such a move, and now the FIFA president has introduced a new tool in the campaign that could cause further storms.
Inptino added regarding the proposals: "This is not my request, but that of the FIFA Congress, which requested a feasibility study.
From a sporting standpoint it works.
The economic impact is positive for everyone.
What is more important is that it is good for the protection of the local leagues and the players themselves because there will be fewer selected breaks.
