FC Bayern sells midfielder Cuisance to FC Venice

FC Bayern Munich has given reservist Michaël Cuisance to FC Venice with immediate effect.

As the Italian first division team announced on Monday, the midfielder will receive a contract until the summer of 2025. According to media reports, the 22-year-old Frenchman should bring Bayern three to four million euros in transfer fees plus possible bonus payments.

Cuisance moved from Borussia Mönchengladbach to FC Bayern in the summer of 2019 for around ten million euros.

However, he could never prevail and was in the meantime loaned to Olympique Marseille.

In Munich he had a contract until June 30, 2024.

Cuisance appeared in just 13 competitive games for the Bayern professionals and scored two goals.

"We would like to thank Michael Cuisance for his commitment in the FC Bayern jersey and wish him all the best and much success for his future at FC Venice," said sports director Hasan Salihamidžić in the club announcement.

FC Augsburg makes record transfer clear - Pepi signs long-term

FC Augsburg has made its record purchase and signed US international Ricardo Pepi.

As the Bundesliga team announced on Monday, the 18-year-old striker will receive a contract from MLS club FC Dallas until June 30, 2026 with an option for another season.

The clubs have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.

According to the »Augsburger Allgemeine«, the US-American should cost a little more than 13 million euros plus possible additional payments.

So far, defender Martin Hinteregger, who was signed by RB Salzburg for around ten million euros in the summer of 2016, was considered a record purchase for Augsburg.

Coach Markus Weinzierl hopes Pepi will have more impact in the storm.

Manager Stefan Reuter said of the attacker, who also has Mexican citizenship: "We are pleased that Ricardo has decided to switch to the FCA despite the interest of numerous international top clubs." On Monday afternoon, Pepi was due to start training with an individual session.

Morata to Barça - but Icardi to Juve?

According to "Gazzetta dello Sport", FC Barcelona want to strengthen themselves with striker Álvaro Morata in January.

Juventus seem ready to let the Spanish international go but are looking for an adequate replacement.

The preferred candidate of Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri is said to be Argentine Mauro Icardi, who moved from Inter Milan to Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.

The striker should be ready for a return to Serie A, reported the Gazzetta.

Morata is loaned to Juventus by Atletico Madrid until the end of the season.

However, the Bianconeri should not want to pay the purchase option in the amount of the rumored 35 million euros.

Insigne is said to be moving to Toronto

SSC Naples captain and European soccer champion Lorenzo Insigne has apparently agreed with the Canadian club FC Toronto on a change from July.

In Canada, the 30-year-old striker is said to be on a five-year contract.

This is what the »Gazzetta dello Sport« reports.

The split between Insigne and the club, with which he has been under contract for ten years, was sealed after repeated disagreements between the player and Naples owner Aurelio De Laurentiis over a raise for the star player, according to Gazzetta.

De Laurentiis is said to have offered the striker 3.5 million euros plus one million bonuses a year - too little for insignia.
