A Maccabi Netanya player, Almog Cohen, who is due to retire very soon and officially become the club's professional manager, will face disciplinary action in the Football Association's disciplinary court, for misconduct.
According to Ural Greenfeld's refereeing report, it was alleged that immediately after the half-time break against Betar Jerusalem, Cohen, who was not listed on the game form, approached the refereeing team and started shouting at them.
"He literally accompanied us with shouts along all the stairs, until the people of Netanya intervened and brought him into the locker room," the judge wrote.
Greenfeld also noted that another man with a Maccabi Netanya shirt shouted at him: "Substitute profession, you are ashamed."
The team will be prosecuted for unsportsmanlike conduct and inappropriate behavior by its fans.
