Four players in Betar Jerusalem were sent to undergo corona tests, after they did not feel well and did not participate today (Tuesday) in the team's training. The players are captain Ofir Krief, Aviel Zargari, Liran Rotman and Roi Herman.
After Herman was found negative in the test, the team hopes that the other players also got the flu and not the corona, so maybe until Sunday they can play against Ashdod, but this of course depends on the corona test results that those players underwent.
As you may recall, last week Marko Jankovic and Michael Ohana fell ill with the flu.
Today's training was attended by a total of 14 players, three of whom were goalkeepers.
Brakeman Joshua Mahias, who was absent from the pitches about three months after being operated on with his foot, is due to arrive in the country in the next few days but estimates are that he will not be able to return to play before February.
