FC Riga presents Fink with an action video
Trainer Thorsten Fink has found a new job in Latvia.
The 54-year-old, once a long-time Bundesliga professional and master coach in Switzerland, was introduced on Tuesday as the new head coach at FC Riga.
In a curious presentation video on the Twitter account of the three-time Latvian champion, Fink drives through the snow to the stadium to the music of Capital Bra in a Mercedes.
Most recently, he trained Vissel Kobe in Japan until September 2020, after which he returned to his home town of Munich.
The FC Riga finished the past season in the Virsliga in fourth place.
In the play-offs of the Conference League qualification, the club founded in 2014 failed to the Lincoln Red Imps from Gibraltar.

Onana before signature in Milan
Most recently, André Onana was banned from doping for months, but numerous clubs have shown interest in the 25-year-old Amsterdam goalkeeper, whose contract with Ajax would have expired in the summer.
However, a change seems to be a reality during the winter break - the Cameroonian is said to have already passed the medical check with the Italian champions Inter Milan.
At Inter, he could succeed 37-year-old Samir Handanovič, whose contract expires this summer.

Newcastle want to upgrade
After the entry of a Saudi Arabian investor into Newcastle United, there is enough money.
And the club wants to shop in winter to get out of the Premier League table cellar.
Two British players are in the spotlight: According to consistent reports from several British and Spanish media, Newcastle has made an offer for right-back Kieran Trippier.
The English international from Atlético Madrid should cost about 25 million euros.
The second transfer target is Aaron Ramsey - the 31-year-old Welshman can leave Juventus if an offer is made.
