Maccabi Haifa's contact, Muhammad Abu Fani, received racist comments on social media in the last day, after Maccabi Haifa's victory against Maccabi Tel Aviv (2: 3).
"How much time have you spent, a stinking Arab," read one of the posts.
Abu Fani chose not to ignore, due to the fact that the profile featured a picture of a young boy.
"You're a kid, why are you talking like that?"
The Greens wondered, and replied that the boy was only 15 years old.
At the beginning of the season, the club transferred the players in a kind of social networking workshop, in an attempt to help them not to fall into this type of situation, as a negative reaction could cause them damage.
Along with the racist messages, Abu Fani received hundreds of messages from his team's fans about the spirit he displayed in the league's victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv, after more than five years.
Beyond that, the club opened the sale of tickets for the game on Saturday against Maccabi Petah Tikva. At the moment, the amount of tickets that the Greens can sell is relatively low due to matters of the Ministry of Economy related to Maccabi Petah Tikva.
The expectation is for at least 8,000 fans to make their way to the Mother Colonies this coming Saturday, when the demand for tickets is huge.
"There is madness after the victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv," the club said, "even without the victory, the crowd would have come and filled the stadium as always, but what has been happening among the fans since Monday is complete madness."
By Saturday, defender San Menachem is scheduled to hold a number of more full training sessions.
After partnering with Maccabi Tel Aviv, there is a dispute between him and Raz Meir in the position of left defender.
The Spanish Jose Rodriguez is in great doubt due to the stretch from which he suffers in the back thigh muscle.
