Summary of Maccabi Haifa's 2: 3 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv (Sport1)
A stormy 24 hours passed for Maccabi Haifa's midfielder Muhammad Abu Fani. The midfielder, who excelled in the dramatic 2: 3 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv, starred in dozens of waters on the nets in the last two minutes in which he managed to hold the ball alone in front of the rival players and pass the time near the corner flag until the final whistle. In addition, the contact received messages from the group's fans, which made him an "idol".
But alongside the euphoria, Abu Fani received dozens of abusive messages from Maccabi Tel Aviv fans, some of whom received harsh curses. One of the messages that was published on the Internet, carried racist things when one of the fans who identified himself as a Maccabi Tel Aviv fan wrote to the contact: "How long has it been since you stinking an Arab?" Although Abu Fani responded to the same fan, he preferred not to be drawn into a violent discourse and wrote: "You are a child, why are you talking like that?".
In Haifa, Abu Fani was praised for his restrained response: "On the pitch, Abu Fani does not see anyone in the eyes or count anyone, but as the game ended, even in interviews, we saw that he did not incite fire and in reactions to really harsh messages written to him."
In another matter, the club very much hopes that they will not be punished by closing the northern stand in light of the refereeing report. And there is no interest in harming Betar Jerusalem either.
