Belarusian Victoria Azarenka reached the second round of the Australian Tennis Championships, Adelaide, after defeating Spain's Paula Padusa.
Azarenka managed to decide the outcome of the match in her favour, defeating her opponent, Padusa, 6-3, 6-2.
In the second round, Azarenka will face Australian Priscilla Hoon, who in turn defeated Czech Petra Kvitova.
