A big mess in Australia.
Novak Djokovic is currently detained at the entrance to the country after not being allowed to enter its territory because he was not vaccinated against the corona virus.
Just yesterday it was announced that the Serbian tennis player had been granted an exceptional exemption to enter the competition even though he had not been vaccinated against the virus and it seemed that the saga in his case was coming to an end.
Now according to reports around the world, when he tried to enter with a visa that does not include an exemption without vaccines, he encountered a problem by the Victoria State Police, where the tournament will be held.
"The federal government asked if we could allow Djokovic to enter the country with his visa, and we did not," the sports minister tweeted.
"We have always been clear about two things: visa visas are a matter for the federal government, medical exceptions are a matter for doctors."
BREAKING The Victorian government rejected a late-night request from Border Force to support the world No.
