Hapoel Nof Hagalil coach Yaron Hochnaboim was fired today (Wednesday) following the team's negative sequence of results.
Hochnaboim was summoned for a conversation with the club's general manager, Gil Baram, after the recent 3-0 loss to CBS Ashdod, in which it was made clear to him that there is dissatisfaction with the situation the team is in.
The Galilee landscape has fallen below the red line in the past week, which has raised the level of pressure in the ranks of the new season.
Baram saw the rest of the rivals at the bottom make a change in the coach's position and feared that they would run away from his team in the coming weeks.
Sources at the club claimed that "this is a critical period for change, mainly because of the results".
Today, as mentioned, Hochnaboim heard from Baram about his decision and the team will look for another coach.
Haim Sylves and Shai Barda are the main candidates to come.
The name of Uri Gutman, who was fired from Hapoel Kfar Saba today, also came up as an option to join the northern team.
