The coach, who signed until the end of the season, will replace Yaron Hochnaboim, who was fired earlier from his position • The first test: on Saturday in front of his good friend with whom he worked together for many years

Hapoel Nof Hagalil this evening (Wednesday) appointed Shai Barda as the team's coach, replacing Yaron Hochnaboim, who was fired earlier.

The club's general manager, Gil Baram, concluded Barda's terms until the end of the season with an option for another season, in case the team remains in the league.

Breda embarks on a new and independent path after many years of working together with Slobodan Drapic.

Amazingly, Barda's first game on the lines as a coach, will be on Saturday against Urbani KS, the same coach Drapich, one of the people closest to him at the professional level.

The two worked together at Maccabi Netanya for years and were known for managing their joint game.

One half Drapich was standing on the lines, while in the other half it was Breda.

Last summer, the two decided to go it alone.

Drapich was appointed KS coach about two months ago and since then the team has been successful. Breda kept waiting, and tonight, as mentioned, the offer he had hoped for arrived. In recent weeks, quite a few teams in the Premier League and National League have been interested in Breda.

Shai Barda receives Hapoel Nof Hagalil when it is placed in the penultimate place in the Premier League table with only 13 points, 3 more than Maccabi Petah Tikva, which closes the table. And Hapoel Haifa.
