Ryōyū Kobayashi has won the 70th edition of the Four Hills Tournament.
In the final Epiphany in Bischofshofen, a fifth place with two jumps of 133.5 meters each was enough for the Japanese to bring his big lead in the touring classification to the finish.
For Kobayashi it is the second overall victory after the 2018/19 season, but he missed being the first jumper to win all four individual competitions on the same tour a second time.
Daniel Huber won the day: The Austrian surprised with two strong jumps on 136.5 and 137 meters and celebrated his first World Cup victory.
Halvor Egner Granerud from Norway (136 and 136.5 meters) and Karl Geiger completed the podium.
The German top jumper, who finished in a disappointing 37th place in the qualification, benefited from a strong first jump to 140.5 meters.
Geiger followed the lead after the first round with a jump to 132 meters - that was enough for the podium, but not for the first German success on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze since Sven Hannawald in the 2001/2002 season.
