An exciting first run is behind us.

It is already clear that Ryoyu Kobayashi is no longer taking the very big risk here - of course he wants to bring his Grand Slam safely to the finish and is in fifth place before the final.

The overall victory can actually no longer be taken from him, the performance of his closest rival Marius Lindvik was too weak.

In return, Karl Geiger can hope for the day's victory after his huge jump of 140.5 meters and: A podium place in the overall standings is still possible.

All signs indicate that Ryoyu Kobayashi is flying towards his second victory in the Four Hills Tournament *.

Even the Grand Slam beckons for the Japanese, he has already won the first three competitions.

But once he also has to deliver on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen.

In all likelihood, German jumpers can no longer deny him the victory, Karl Geiger and Markus Eisenbichler jump a strong tour, but again it is not enough for the really big throw.

They are fighting for a podium in the last jump.

The Norwegian Marius Lindvik is probably the only one who can still dispute Kobayashi for the Golden Eagle.

However, he is 17 points behind, so he needs two strong jumps and at least one mistake by the Japanese.

After Innsbruck was canceled, the fourth competition will take place in Bischofshofen again.

Geiger has already ticked off the overall victory.
