Summary of Maccabi Haifa's 2: 3 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv (Sport1)
Maccabi Tel Aviv has decided not to hold a ceremony on Saturday in honor of Eitan Tibi and Itai Schechter, who left the team this summer, as we published in Walla!
Sport, and CEO Sharon Tamem
even spoke with the two and explained that the unusual decision was made due to the existing sensitivity towards Dor Micha, who eventually ended his career at Maccabi Tel Aviv following the "footballers and minors" affair, but since the news became known the spirits have been quite stormy.
Maccabi Tel Aviv and social media have discussed the issue at length in recent hours, but among the critics of the Yellows' decision was also former player Gili Vermot, who was reportedly acquired by Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2015 and collaborated with Tibi and Micha in the yellow uniform.

"Maccabi Tel Aviv's decision not to hold a ceremony for Dor Micha before the game against Hapoel Beer Sheva is shameful," Vermouth wrote in his personal Twitter account. "From the group (which is also not justified in my eyes). It is also possible to say goodbye in a dignified manner," the former contact added.
Micha is known to have first met Maccabi Tel Aviv in a match between the teams in the first round, but has not yet returned to Bloomfield Stadium since he was asked to leave.
Micha, as is well known, grew up in Maccabi Tel Aviv and moved in all its youth departments and was one of the prominent players in the senior team for years, until he moved to Anorthosis Famagusta Cyprus in the summer of 2020 and after a year on the neighboring island returned to Israel and signed with Hapoel Beer Sheva.
