The Celtics have a variety of ways to lose this season, but tonight is probably the record high. Emma Udoka's team safely led by 24 points in the first half, maintained a confident lead as the game reached advanced stages, heard Knicks fans already whistling contemptuously towards their players, and still went down undefeated with a dismal 11-2 season balance in close games. Owen Fournier was passionate against his former team and led the Knicks with a career-high 41 points including 10 of 13 from the three, but the game’s protagonist was RJ Barrett who sniped a big three on the buzzer using the board, despite keeping a tight end. Julius Randall added 22 for the winner, while the loser enjoyed 36 points from Jason Taitum who also proved winemaking with a big basket that tied with a second on the clock - but that was not enough either. Dennis Schroeder added 20 for the Celtics.
New Orleans (25:14) - Golden State (9:29) 96: 101
The slightly injured Steph Kerry, Drymond Green and Juan Tuscany Anderson were rested, and without them the Warriors suffered a second straight loss for the first time this season.
Steve Kerr's team actually dominated the first half and went up to a double-digit lead, but Brandon Ingram and his teammates got back to business quickly, opened up a small lead towards the final minutes, and kept him calm from the penalty line.
Ingram was above them all with 32 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists, Josh Hart added 14, and on the other hand the standout slinger was Andrew Wiggins with 21.

This time there was no need for clutch moves.

Memphis (14:26) - Detroit (30: 7) 88: 118
Seventh straight win for the Grizzlies, who this time for a change did not need the rise of Ja Morant in the clutch.
The explosive coordinator led the host to a relaxed victory that was not questioned even for a moment, as he and his teammates opened a gap of 14 already at the end of the first quarter, and from there did not look back against one of the weakest teams in the league.
Morant had 22 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in 25 minutes, and was supported by Dillon Brooks who added 18 and 5 assists.
The Pistons were led by Saiban Lee with 14 and 5 assists off the bench.
