The corona virus affects the game plan in the Oberliga Süd: EC Peiting has to sit out both today and on Sunday.
There are currently only two games taking place on Friday.
Peiting - The EC Peiting is on an involuntary break in the game: Both the game on Friday (8pm) at the "Eisbären Regensburg" and the game on Sunday, January 9th, 6pm, at home against the "Starbulls Rosenheim" are canceled or postponed.
The background is various suspected corona cases that have occurred in the Rosenheim team. The Peitinger only played against Rosenheim last Wednesday. Because of this duel - as a precautionary measure - the Friday game between the "Eisbären Regensburg" and the ECP was canceled, "because there are no valid test results for the team from Peiting, taking into account the incubation period," said the Regensburg-based team .
The games of HC Landsberg against EV Füssen, the "Blue Devils Weiden" against SC Riessersee and the "Starbulls Rosenheim" against Höchstadter EC have now also been canceled.
The Landsbergers had to cancel their game due to a corona case in the team.
"Fortunately, the vaccinated player shows only mild symptoms and is in domestic isolation," said the "Riverkings".
It is not yet clear whether the game against Riessersee planned for Sunday can take place.
