Herrsching can still win: WWK Volleys beat Haching in the derby and hope to finish sixth

The WWK Volleys Herrsching celebrate a mandatory win at Bundesliga bottom TSV Haching.

On Saturday they want to secure sixth place for the second round.

Herrsching - The WWK Volleys Herrsching have ended their negative series.

Head coach Max Hauser's Bundesliga team lived up to their role as favorites and won the Upper Bavarian derby at TSV Haching Munich yesterday evening 3-1 (25:19, 25:23, 22:25, 25:18).

Thus, the volleyball players from Ammersee drew level with the sixth-placed Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen in the table.

The Brandenburgers have to play against VfB Friedrichshafen in their remaining two games.

However, setter Luke Herr secured the gold MVP medal, while setter Benedikt Sagstetter was convincing on the hosts side.

The hunt for points will continue on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Then the Herrschinger receive the United Volleys for the final main round game.

The game will not take place in the Audi Dome, as originally planned, but in the Nikolaushalle in Herrsching.

Spectators are not allowed.
