The WWK Volleys Herrsching celebrate a mandatory win at Bundesliga bottom TSV Haching.

On Saturday they want to secure sixth place for the second round.

Herrsching - The WWK Volleys Herrsching have ended their negative series.

Head coach Max Hauser's Bundesliga team lived up to their role as favorites and won the Upper Bavarian derby at TSV Haching Munich yesterday evening 3-1 (25:19, 25:23, 22:25, 25:18).

TSV Haching remains first division, WWK Volleys Herrsching want more

Thus, the volleyball players from Ammersee drew level with the sixth-placed Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen in the table.

The Brandenburgers have to play against VfB Friedrichshafen in their remaining two games.

It is quite possible that in their last game against United Volleys Frankfurt on Saturday, one point will be enough for the Herrschingern to move into the second round on the targeted sixth place.

The Hachinger are still in ninth and last place with three points.

The Munich suburbs do not have to fear a sporting descent.

Also in the coming season, the Hachinger, who entered into a cooperation with TSV 1860 Munich last summer, will serve in the Bundesliga.

WWK Volleys: Ferragut remains without commitment, Herrsching starts nervously

The Herrschinger arrived with a full band.

There were 14 players on the score sheet, but not all of them were ready for action.

Among them Jordi Ramon Ferragut, the Spanish attacker was not used.

Which was not necessary against the young Hachinger troop.

In the middle block Iven Ferch played again for Luuc van der Ent.

The clearly favored guests started visibly nervous in front of the 300 admitted spectators.

At the first technical break it was 5: 8, but the Hauser crew was in the game until the second (16:15).

In the crunchtime, the Ammerseer could not be thrown off course.

Haching presents himself strong and forces Herrsching to put in too much effort

In the second round, Herrsching set the tone from the start.

Hauser was even able to afford the luxury of using player talent Severin Brandt for a rotation.

The 17-year-old, who came from Unterhaching in the summer, had ups and downs, but did his job properly.

When things got tight towards the end of the sentence, Dorde Ilic grabbed the net twice.

Tim Peter used the set ball with a crashing attack on the backcourt.

In the third movement, the WWK volleys chased the music right from the start.

Haching became more courageous, and the guests made a few unnecessary mistakes of their own.

Sebastian Rösler finally rewarded himself and his team for their courageous performance by winning the set.

"The Hachinger team played very well, better than I expected," said Hauser, praising his colleague Bogdan Tanase's young squad.

Volleyball Bundesliga: Tim Peter and the players from both teams are convincing

In the fourth lap it went back and forth until the first technical time-out (8: 7), but then the Herrschinger team didn't let anything burn and literally dismantled the taillight.

If Tim Peter & Co. hadn't reached into the box of mistakes again, the sentence would have ended more clearly than 25:18.

Captain Peter delivered a strong performance, scoring 16 attack points, four block points and two aces.

However, setter Luke Herr secured the gold MVP medal, while setter Benedikt Sagstetter was convincing on the hosts side.

The hunt for points will continue on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Then the Herrschinger receive the United Volleys for the final main round game.

The game will not take place in the Audi Dome, as originally planned, but in the Nikolaushalle in Herrsching.

Spectators are not allowed.

The game will be broadcast live on the internet on the streaming platform twitch.tv/spontent.
