Two young athletes from TSV Erding are aiming high.
Erding - Back in the old year, the Erdinger athletes started in a youth indoor pole vault competition in Munich's Linde Hall, which was registered at short notice.
Due to the current situation, only 18 athletes were allowed, who were evenly distributed over two facilities.
The female U14 had the largest number of six girls, with Magdalena Reisinger and Katja Riedl from TSV Erding at the start. The hard-working 13-year-old Reisinger showed that the sprint training had borne fruit. Your approach with the staff on the system was much faster and more powerful. The result was error-free crossings from 2.42 m, 2.52 m and even further with ten centimeters increments. She only needed two attempts at her new personal best of 2.92 m. The magical 3.02 m no longer worked. The victory and a new club record in the W13 thus went to Magdalena Reisinger.
Just behind, on a shared 2nd place together with Katharina Weichenfelder (TV Geisenfeld), landed the second Erdinger jumper Riedl.
After a short break from training, it was also exciting for her to see how she coped with this break.
She also made clean jumps from the starting height of 2.42 m, error-free up to 2.72 m. Although the TSV jumper needed three attempts for the 2.82 m, she now has a new record.
Trainer Alex Bauer was very satisfied with his girls and is already looking forward to the competitions in January.
