A violent incident took place tonight (Saturday) before the game between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel B'Shlosha in Bloomfield when the police recently arrested ten fans outside the Hippo Stadium on suspicion of using a flare at police forces and on suspicion of involvement in fights.
During the operational deployment of the police forces near the stadium complex, the police noticed a brawl that developed between the fans of the teams while throwing objects and stones and bottles.
Police officers arrived at the brawl and stopped it and in the process arrested ten fans from both camps when during the handling of the incident a flare was fired at the police officers in direct formation without any casualties.
