Fans confront Israel Police outside Bloomfield Stadium (Israel Police spokeswoman)
The violence continues to overshadow the great football games in Israel.
Prior to the meeting between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Beer Sheva this evening (Saturday), the Israeli police announced the arrest of 10 fans on suspicion of using a torch on police forces and on suspicion of involvement in fights outside Bloomfield Stadium.

During the operational deployment of police forces near the stadium compound, police officers noticed a brawl that developed between several people involved throwing objects at stones and bottles.
Police officers arrived at the brawl and stopped it, meanwhile arresting ten fans from both camps, when during the handling of the incident a flare was fired at the police officers in direct formation with no casualties.
In addition, police found a torch that was removed inside the backpack of a man who arrived in Bloomfield on a fan bus.
