The year 2021 is over - and for some people still had the best present left.
As for a dream athlete couple who are now engaged.
Oslo - The year 2021 was also history for a few days.
Towards the end it even held beautiful moments in store for a few people.
A Norwegian winter sports legend got a marriage proposal from her long-time boyfriend, a world rowing champion.
She said yes and now the next dream athlete couple is engaged.
Whether Felix Neureuther and his Miriam, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Ana Ivanovic or Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf - Therese Johaug and Nils Jakob Hoff can soon join the illustrious group of athlete couples.
Johaug is very famous in winter sports circles.
Winter sports legend and rowing world champion now engaged - she has already won everything
The cross-country skier won everything that can be won - here is a selection of the most prestigious moments:
Olympia: 1x gold, 1x silver, 1x bronze
WM: 14x gold, 2x silver, 3x bronze
Overall World Cup: 3x
She also won gold over 10,000 meters at the Norwegian Leitahtletik Championships

Happy New Year."
The big players in the winter sports world congratulate the couple who have already gone through thick and thin
The man in the photo is not a no-name either.
Nils Jakob Hoff won the gold medal in double sculls at the 2013 World Rowing Championships.
At the Olympic Games, Therese Johaug's future husband received nothing.
He is now 36 years old.
On Instagram, several athletes such as biathlete Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, former professional skier Nina Haver-Loseth and cross-country competitor Jessie Diggins congratulated the dream couple.
Johaug and Hoff went through thick and thin together, like in 2016, when Johaug was convicted of doping, for which their doctor took responsibility.
A sunburn remedy contained banned substances and the cross-country skier was banned for 18 months.
