It was the best advertisement for ice hockey in the sold out Dr. Rudolf Stadium.
The Erding Gladiators also won the second county derby of this season with 8: 4 (1: 1, 2: 1, 5: 2) goals against the ESC Dorfen.
After a long break, the fit ESC captain Christi an Göttlicher opened a great derby with a margin just past the Erdinger Torkreuzeck. At Erding, Florian Zimmermann had to leave after eight minutes. Then Erik Modlmayer did not come into the cross pass in the best position, ready to shoot. On the other side, Christoph Schedlbauer closed against the breakthrough Tomas Vrba. A Michl penalty time had barely expired, as Schedlbauer could not hold a shot, and Lukas Kirsch dusted off to 1-0.
The ice pirates were now masters of the house.
Göttlicher failed on a break at Schedlbauer, but was also fouled, and there was a penalty, which Vrba forgave.
The festival of the Dorfener shot possibilities lasted until the penalty time against Benedikt Dietrich in the 16th minute.
Now Andreas Marek became the tower in the Dorfen defense battle, and it went well.
The gladiators now had the upper hand, and in the 19th minute David Hrazdira closed a veritable state of siege with the 1-1 draw.

Erding took the moment with him into the dressing room and into the second part of the game. In the majority, defender Mark Waldhausen crowned a very strong power play in the center forward position to make it 2-1. The ice pirates caught up, but Urban Sodja and Maximilian Huber despaired of the strong Schedlbauer. The cold shower was the second goal of Hrazdira, who until recently had been storming in the ESC jersey, after a great play. It went up and down with breathtaking speed and the odds of the ice pirates. Sodja brought them back into the game with a lucky strike by friends and foes to make it 2: 3. And the Dorfeners seemed to be able to build on that after the break. 13 seconds were played, Erdings Michl had to go to the penalty bench, and Kirchs scored his second goal to make it 3: 3.
In the euphoria of the young ice pirates, the gladiators made two attacks like out of a textbook.
Sebastian Busch and Philipp Michl put TSV Erding 5: 3 in the front within 51 seconds.
There were three penalty times against the guests, and then the ice pirates failed to come back.
Complete again, Michl and Hrazdira made the preliminary decision with their hits.
The Erdinger fans sang “only three more”, but the next hit was due to the ice pirates through Kirsch.
12 seconds before the final siren, the ex-ice pirate Hrazdira scored 8: 4 and thus fourth time.
