Syria's first football team concluded its local training camp in Aleppo today by conducting a preparatory match with Al-Ittihad team at Al-Hamdaniya Stadium, which ended with our team winning two goals without a response.
The two goals of the match were scored by Ali Bashmani in the seventh minute, and Muhammad Rihaniya from a penalty kick in the thirty-fifth minute.
This camp is the second local that our team is conducting in preparation for the selection of a number of players who will join our professionals abroad to play two matches against the UAE and South Korea in the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, on the 27th of this month and the first of next month.
Our team occupies the sixth and last place with two points in the first group in the decisive round of the qualifiers, while the Iranian team leads the standings with 16 points, followed by South Korea with 14 points, then the UAE with 6 points, Lebanon with 5 points, and Iraq with 4 points.
