Six games took place tonight (Saturday through Sunday) in the NBA, but the first game was held as early as noon on United States time when the Los Angeles Clippers hosted Memphis, and succumbed to the fiery Grizzlies.
Milwaukee later suffered another loss, and Phoenix also surrendered to Miami.
Today's really exciting news comes from Clay Thompson, the Golden State star, who after 941 (!!!) days out of the game will return to the pitches on Sunday night, for the Warriors game against Cleveland at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Thompson, who has won three championships in the Golden State uniform, has missed the past two seasons due to injuries.

What's going on with the champion?

Even if a 43-point game including 18 of 20 of Yannis Antokompo's penalties ends in a Milwaukee loss, a sign that something is really not working.
The champion has suffered a third loss in the last four games and continued the unflattering away balance (13: 9), once again struggling on offense and finishing with just 39 percent from the field.
The Yannis also had 12 rebounds, and Chris Middleton was good as well with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists, but the Hornets, who were in control for most of the game, ran away with a third quarter of 42 points and recorded a second straight win.
Terry Roger was the standout with 28 points, Miles Bridges added 21 and eight rebounds, and Amalou Ball was also at his best with 19, 9 and 8 assists.

On the day the champion was defeated, her deputy also received a wake-up call.
A fantastic shooting day of the Heat who appeared for the game in a rather lackluster roster, arranged for them a prestigious victory in Arizona and stopped the Suns after three consecutive victories.
Miami equaled a club record with 22 threes at 50 percent, with Tyler Hiro (33 points) and Duncan Robinson (27) rising from the bench, delivering season-high points records and forgetting the absence of no less than 11 players from the roster, including Jimmy Butler.
On the other hand, the Suns were limited to just 38 percent from the field, with Devin Booker also in a good 26-point game alongside 20 by Michael Bridges, not preventing the loss.
His 26 points also did not help in the face of the explosion of the hit outside the arc.

The Clippers (21:19) - Memphis (14:27) 123: 108
The Grizzlies continued in their excellent form and completed eight straight wins: Jaren Jackson scored 26 points, Desmond Bain scored 23, and Memphis wins despite the problems and subtractions.
Before the game the Grizzlies were informed that team coach Taylor Jenkins had become the 14th coach in the league to go into isolation because of Corona, also Stephen Adams (the only one of 17 players in the league who has not missed a game to date) joined him, and Brad Jones, the assistant, ran the game.
Ja Morant sat out due to a groin injury, and yet Memphis knew how to run to the second quarter of 20:38 that erased a backlog and gave it an advantage it kept until the end.
The Clippers came after two straight losses and three in the last four games, and continued the decline.
Marcus Morris scored 29 for the Clippers.
