Italian club Juventus announced the injury of its international player Federico Chiesa.
The club said in a statement on its official website that the player, who plays in the right wing position, sustained an injury to his left knee during his participation in the match in which Juventus won a thrilling 4-3 victory over Roma yesterday in the Italian Premier League.
The statement confirmed that the medical tests that Chiesa underwent today revealed that it will be necessary to perform an operation on him in the next few days, which will leave him absent from the team for an estimated period until the end of the current season.
