FC Schalke 04 have signed defender Andreas Vindheim.

As the second division soccer team announced on Monday, the 26-year-old Norwegian signed a loan agreement from Sparta Prague, which runs until the end of the current season and which includes a purchase option.

With the transfer, the fourth in the table closes the gap on the right wing, which was created by the injury of Mehmet Aydin.

Vindheim, who trained at SK Brann Bergen, won the Swedish championship with Malmö FF in 2016 and 2017.

In 2019 he moved to the Czech club Sparta Prague, with whom he took part in the Europa League this season and was used three times.

On November 18, 2020, Vindheim made his debut for the Norwegian national team against Austria.

End of your career in Madrid?

Kroos speaks of an "incomprehensible relationship"

Ex-world champion Toni Kroos wants to end his football career at Real Madrid and is therefore playing with open cards when it comes to a possible contract extension. “The term of the contract was very deliberately chosen by me when I last renewed it, then I would be 33 and that would be a good age to think about how things will continue. I don't need to fool around, ”said the professional, who played 106 international matches for Germany in his career and was world champion with the team in 2014, on Monday TV broadcaster Sky.

He is now in his eighth season with Real "and that is an incredible relationship that I would never put on the line by playing poker, and I think that is the case for both sides," said Kroos in the interview via Skype. He clearly communicated that “I want to end my career here and that will happen”. He cannot yet answer exactly whether it will be in 2023 or a little later. "We won't worry too much about it," said Kroos.

“I know what I have in the club and they know what they have in me.

At some point we will approach each other in a very relaxed manner.

The bones and lust are the basis of everything », emphasized Kroos, who has just turned 32.

“I still feel absolutely good, but a) the level has to be right, b) the body has to participate and c) the desire has to be there.

And when all of that is there, we will talk at some point and if not, then I still have a contract until 2023. "
