The temporary committee of the Football Association announced the official contract with Romanian Tita Valerio to coach Syria's first football team, during a press conference held today at the Federation headquarters in Damascus.
The head of the committee, Nabil Al-Sibai, said during the signing of the contract that the coach’s contract is for six months, with a salary of $10,000 and $15,000 for the rest of the staff.
Coach Valerio expressed his readiness to exert his utmost efforts with the national team to provide the required performance in the remaining matches of the qualifiers, achieve the desired victory and bring joy to the hearts of the Syrians. Next.
Our team occupies the sixth and last place with two points in the first group in the decisive round of the qualifiers, while the Iranian team leads the standings with 16 points, followed by South Korea with 14 points, then the UAE with 6 points, Lebanon with 5 points, and Iraq with 4 points.
