The EV Moosburg got badly under the wheels in Dingolfing.
In terms of promotion round, the Dreirosenstadters are now dependent on the mistakes of the competition.
Moosburg
- EV Moosburg finished the preliminary round of the regional league with a cracking 8-1 defeat at EV Dingolfing. The Niederbayern returned the favor for the clap on Epiphany in the Clariant-Arena, when the Dreirosenstadt triumphed 8-1. On Sunday, the Green and Yellow were only able to keep up with the Isarrats for the first half hour. After that, the tactical discipline and cleverness were missing to take something countable from the Marco-Sturm-Arena.
Dominik Schindlbeck had given the home side a 1-0 lead after losing an EVM disc in the middle third (4th).
Only seconds later, Jakob Killermann had the chance to equalize for the guests with a penalty.
The attempt failed - and the subsequent superiority game ended with a shorthander from Waldemar Detterer to 2-0 for Dingolfing (6th).
But the guests from Upper Bavaria also had opportunities and came through a penalty from Kevin Steiger to the connection goal (16th).
Game practically decided after the second third
In the second section, EVD striker Schindlbeck restored the old distance with his second goal (22nd).
During a majority, the EVM came extremely dangerous in front of the Dingolfinger Tor, but Dennis Jedrus parried brilliantly a few times.
After the Moosburger urge phase, David Michel made it 4-1 for the hosts (33rd) - so the game was practically decided after the second third.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
"We played badly backwards and allowed too many chances and follow-up shots so that the opponent could score," explained a dissatisfied EVM coach Bernie Englbrecht.
“When it was 1: 4 after the second third, I actually said that we had to see that we didn't get any more.
Nevertheless we ran further forward and caught counter-goals. ”David Michel (51st), Oliver Ferstl (53rd), David Bilek (58th) and Jan Herrmann (60th) screwed up the result for EV Dingolfing 8: 1 in height.
EV Moosburg: What is the competition doing?
The Isarrats have their place in goal four of the table and can plan for the promotion round.
The current table runner-up EV Moosburg, on the other hand, has to hope that the competition will slip up.
The ESC Haßfurt and the ESV Waldkirchen will probably pass by, so that the EVM is dependent on the TSV Trostberg and the EV Pegnitz not getting the maximum points in their remaining preliminary round games.
