The derby between Türkgücü and TSV 1860 will take place on January 22nd. And although no spectators are allowed, all fans can watch the game live.
Munich
- At the weekend it will finally be that time again.
After almost a month of winter break, the 3rd division will also start into the year 2022, after the Bundesliga played last week.
The two Munich clubs, Türkgücü Munich and TSV 1860 Munich, fell short of their expectations in the first half of the season and are looking to make amends in the new year.
Both teams traveled to Turkey to Belek for ideal preparation to hold their training camp there.
TSV 1860 needs to catch up - Türkgücü in the relegation battle
The Munich Lions have only collected a disappointing 29 points after 20 match days and are currently in tenth place in the table.
The sixties are already seven points behind the targeted third place.
Only a winning streak in the new year would wash Michael Köllner's team back into the promotion race.
The 3-1 test match success against second division Hansa Rostock should give confidence for the venture ascent in 1860.
Türkgücü Munich finally said goodbye to this dream during the winter break. President Hasan Kivran's team occupied 16th place in the table at the winter break and was only two points ahead of the first relegation place. In the first half of the season, two head coaches, Petr Ruman and Peter Hyballa, had to resign. Now the Austrian Andreas Heraf should fix it. At least the Turkish second division team Eskisehirspor could be defeated 2-0 at the end of the training camp.
While Türkgücü starts the new year at Hallescher FC on February 15, TSV 1860 receives Wehen Wiesbaden at the same time.
Just a week later there is an explosive direct encounter in the Olympic Stadium when Türkgücü receives the lions.
And although no fans are allowed in the stadium, there is good news for all supporters of the two city rivals.
The game will be broadcast live and in full from 2 p.m. on free TV on BR.
