FC Bayern Munich is always looking for reinforcements.
But it seems that you bite your teeth on a talent.
Munich - It's been complicated weeks for FC Bayern Munich: The corona virus hit the record champions with full force, so coach Julian Nagelsmann had to do without nine players at the start of the second half of the season.
So it was no big surprise that the first game in the new year was lost: On January 7th, it was a 1: 2 bankruptcy against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Despite the many failures, Bayern still brought a starting eleven to the field, which 17 other Bundesliga clubs would be happy to see.
So the squad is well staffed - Julian Nagelsmann explained the reasons for the defeat differently: Individual mistakes in the goals conceded, lack of callousness in the end, unfamiliar positions for some players who have just celebrated their comeback.
Joshua Kimmich was one of them.

The national player was back on the field for the first time since November and then had to go straight to the right-back.
Sure, Kimmich knows this position from before, but he feels much more comfortable in midfield.
Actually, it has been said again and again in the past weeks and months, the Munich team want another player for the right back.
He is said to have given Bayern a basket - again!

The winger has been an issue on Säbener Straße for some time.
A deal that was believed to be almost certain in autumn 2020 fell through, however, when the then Ajax youngster decided to transfer to FC Barcelona.
The rumors of change about the Dutch-born American have never really quieter since then.
Dest has repeatedly been treated as a "dream player" - and this term will stay with Michael Reschke for the time being.

Dest. Reschke, head of european football, is certain that the right-back will stay with Barca.
“The boy currently has no ambitions to switch.
I am skeptical that there will be a transfer to Munich in the summer, ”said the 64-year-old on

.

Bitter for Bayern, because: Benjamin Pavard regularly announces that he would much rather play in central defense.
For two and a half years, however, the Frenchman has had to go back to the right.
He does his job properly, but this line-up does not seem to be a permanent solution.
So maybe the Bavarians start again with Dest?
The 21-year-old has a difficult time with the Catalans, most recently he was slowed down by an adductor injury and a corona infection.
