It wasn’t planned that way: ERC Lechbruck failed against the bottom of the table, Bad Aibling.
The guests got along better in the snowstorm in the Lechpark Stadium.
Lechbruck - For a long time, the ERC Lechbruck was a candidate for participation in the promotion round to the Bayern League.
But after the surprising 3: 6 defeat in the home game against EHC Bad Aibling, the train left for it.
The direct competitor EV Fürstenfeldbruck (4-2 winner over Reichersbeuern) has overtaken the "raftsmen" in the table.
The "Crusaders" not only have the easier rest of the program with SC Forst (without points since mid-November).
In addition, they have a clearly better goal difference (+12 compared to -10) compared to Lechbruck (they have to play against SC Reichersbeuern in the end).

Lechbruck scores twice, outnumbered
The fact that the ERC slipped out of the top four was not the end of the world for club chairman Manfred Sitter: “Before this season, nobody expected us to play for the promotion round to the end. Nevertheless, he was disappointed about the 3-6 defeat against the bottom of the table. Sitter had already expected “that our team would play with the same vigor as they did against Germering. Instead, we watch almost indifferently as Bad Aibling pours us two goals in the snowstorm and turns the game, ”said the chairman.
Heavy snowfall, which started almost on time for the start of the game, accompanied and impaired the action on the ice. After an early 0: 1 (5th), the Lechbruckers were twice outnumbered on the post: When an ERC player was on the penalty bench, Marcus Köpf scored 1: 1 (7th) and David Hornak to 2: 1 (15.). In the middle third, the "Aibdogs" coped better with the unfavorable external conditions and turned the game around with two goals (25th, 29th). Lukas Zugmaier ensured the Lechbruck equalizer (40th).
