The Corona continues to hit Israeli basketball: The game between Nes Ziona and Bnei Herzliya in the quarterfinals of the State Cup has been postponed.
Both groups were positive for Corona, so the meeting between the two, which was supposed to take place this coming Saturday, will be moved to another date.
Meanwhile, one of the Hapoel Tel Aviv players is also positive for Corona, but it is still unclear whether this will have an effect on the planned game against Hapoel Jerusalem on Saturday in the quarterfinals.
Due to the situation, a preparatory meeting was held today in the Basketball Association for the semi-finals and finals of the Migdal State Cup, which are scheduled to take place on February 14 and 17 at Menora Mivtachim Hall in Tel Aviv.
The meeting, which included the ticket franchisee, the main producer and members of the union, revolved around the health condition that causes the postponement of many games, even at the Cup Factory.
The decision made is that in the next two weeks the situation will be re-examined, alternatives to other dates will be examined, while checking the availability of the hall, the president, other dignitaries and the main sponsor of the trophy factory.
