A great achievement for the Israeli skier Bernabez Solosh, who today (Tuesday) won the gold medal in the world round competition held at Kronplatz in Italy, as part of his preparation for the Winter Olympics in Beijing.

The 23-year-old Solush jumped into the slalom competition with a time of 46.83 seconds at the end of the first round and 48.17 seconds in the second round, which gave him a total time of 1: 35.00 minutes.

In the end, it gave the Israeli alpine surfer the first place overall, in conjunction with the Norwegian Oscar Zimmer who achieved the same time.

With only 34 participants in total out of 77 who started, they managed to survive the difficult track.

The podium picture was completed by Andori Axel Esteve with 1: 35.04 minutes.

Baranbash Solosh is generally Hungarian, the son of a Jewish father.

He has never lived in Israel and does not speak Hebrew, but holds Israeli citizenship.

His family lives in Budapest, but he spends most of his time in Austria, where he practices at a local academy.

Barnabas, who participated in the Youth Winter Games six years ago and finished seventh in the slalom, is the middle brother, along with Benjamin (25) and Noa (18), all three of whom are expected to represent Israel at the Winter Olympics in Beijing next month.

Their father, Peter, represented Israel in the early 1990s and was a pioneer in the industry in Israel, when he participated in world championships, but failed to achieve impressive results.

At a young age, when he was still single, he decided to immigrate to Israel and was absorbed into Israel.
