Big shock in Turkey.
Former national team player, 28-year-old Ahmet Chalik, who played for Koniaspor this season, was killed this morning (Tuesday) in a car accident near Ankara.
According to local media reports, Chalik lost control of his vehicle and overturned on the side of the road.
Celik, who in his youth was considered the brake of the future of Turkish football, played for Glatsray between 2017 and 2020 and wore the Turkish uniform 8 times, in the media he also scored one goal.
"We are very saddened by the loss of our football player, Ahmet Chalik," the official statement from Konyaspor read.
"He has won the love of our fans and our city from the first day he arrived. We send our condolences to everyone, especially to his family."
