The national team was furious at the decision not to kick the decisive kicks towards the goal where the local fans are sitting: "Their job is to maintain order in the stadium and not interfere in the game"

There is great anger at Hapoel Umm al-Fahm over the fact that the police intervened during the game between them and Hapoel Haifa (5: 4 on penalties) in the eighth finals of the State Cup.

The drama began before the penalty shootout when referee Daniel Bar-Natan was instructed by a police officer not to kick towards the gate where Umm al-Fahm fans were sitting.

The group from the national team did not like it, but Bar Natan had no choice but to do what was requested by the police.

"Since when do police determine which side will kick penalties," Umm al-Fahm management said, "What do they have to do with these decisions? Their job is to maintain order in the stadium and not interfere in the game."

It should be noted that when Bar Natan walked towards the lawn, the Umm al-Fahm players tried to persuade him to make a draw for which goal to kick.

In the end, the lottery was done only for the identity of the first kicker.
