Is the light at the end of the tunnel?
The owner of Betar Jerusalem, Moshe Hogg, agreed to sell the group to a French Jewish businessman, for a sum of about four million dollars. However, the deal is not yet close to closing.
The French businessman's representatives are due to carry out a due diligence in the coming days, when they have already been informed that the group has a financial deficit ranging from NIS 8 million to NIS 10 million, which the businessman will have to take on.
Then, and depending on the results they get, they will continue negotiations with Celebrates.
Betar saw that the American group of buyers was not advancing the negotiations to a purchase and today shifted gears with the French businessman, with whom several talks were made until the offer was received.
