Despite the successful week of his trainees, the director of the youth department of Hapoel Tel Aviv, does not intend to take full credit: "They are not 'boxing babies'. Coach Kobi Refuah gave them the opportunity. We have a lot of work to do .."

Omar Boxenbaum, who was appointed the future professional manager of Hapoel Tel Aviv last month, today (Wednesday) summed up the successful week of the club's designated department for which he is still responsible.

As you may recall, only last Saturday, three youth players (Or Israelov, Sagi Ganis and Omer Senior) were included in Kobi Refuah's squad in the away win over Sami Ofer, 0: 2 over Hapoel Haifa.

"Our youth department has cut some of the fruits of hard work this week," Boxenbaum wrote.

"We have great quality of players in the department, and along the way I believe many more of them will fit into the senior team. They are not 'boxing babies', they are 'working babies'. Everyone who works in the youth department shares their development as players and as human beings. We will be able to promote the club in the long run with the players who grew up here.

"In the end, the one who writes the team on the board, and the one who takes the 'risk', is the coach, Kobi Refuah, who with great courage, from the moment he took office, came to see the youth, studied the players - and gave them the opportunity. A lot of work, we are still not the best department in the country and not the most successful club, but we are constantly working to move forward there. "
