Landesliga: Lechbruck's new game mode plays into the cards

The ERC Lechbruck can be happy: The national ice hockey league is benefiting from a mode change that was necessary not least because of Corona.
Lechbruck - So now everything is different: The ERC Lechbruck will be able to take part in the promotion round to the Bayern League.
The decisive factor for this is a mode change that the 20 regional league clubs agreed on in an online conference with the BEV officials.
Since Corona had already caused numerous game failures, the preliminary round was therefore extended and the situation is generally uncertain, a mode adjustment was necessary for scheduling reasons.
ERC lechbruck is now playing in the promotion round
Unlike originally planned, a single round of the five best teams is now to be held internally in both regional league groups. In group 2 these are the "Wanderers Germering", the SC Reichersbeuern, the ESV Burgau, the EV Fürstenfeldbruck and the ERC Lechbruck. In group 1, not all participants have been determined yet. After the group-internal single round (from January 28th to March 4th) the play-offs should follow in a dovetailing against the teams of the other promotion round group. It's about two places in the Bayern League.
The teams in positions six to ten of the two regional league groups play a single round in an internal relegation round - that is, each team has eight games. In group 2, the field of participants consists of these teams: EV Bad Wörishofen, EV Pfronten, SG Schliersee / Miesbach, SC Forst, EHC Bad Aibling. In a play-down round that is interlinked with Group 1, it then goes against relegation to the district league. A message from ERC Lechbruck states whether the teams will take their points scored in the preliminary round into the respective single rounds or not. The "raftsmen" are challenged again in the preliminary round, which has been extended due to Corona. On Friday, January 14th, 8 p.m., they will meet SC Reichersbeuern in their home stadium. The Forster "Nature Boyz" even have to run twice - on Sunday, 16.January, 6.45 p.m., in Bad Aibling and on Friday, January 21, 8 p.m., at home against the EV Fürstenfeldbruck.
