In the middle of the winter transfer window, the famous players' agent Mino Raiola was admitted this Wednesday morning to the San Raffaele clinic in Milan according to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 54-year-old Italo-Dutchman is having a tough time as he reportedly underwent emergency surgery.
The transalpine daily adds that no additional information on his state of health has been disclosed for the moment.
His life is not in danger, however, specifies the Italian press.
Mino Raiola is known to be one of the most powerful agents in the world of football.
He deals in particular with Dutchman Matthijs de Ligt (Juventus Turin), Norwegian Erling Haaland (Dortmund), Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimović (AC Milan), Italians Marco Verratti (PSG), Moise Keane (Juventus) and Mario Balotelli (ex-OM) and the French Paul Pogba (Manchester United) and Blaise Matuidi (ex-PSG).
He speaks seven languages (Italian, English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Dutch) and resides in Monaco.
After starting his career as an agent in 1992, he took care of the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma, just European champion with Italy, at PSG last summer for a colossal salary estimated at more than 12 million euros per year.
