Equatorial Guinea - Ivory Coast (21:00)

After a big mess in the World Cup qualifiers and in any case will not be in Qatar, the Elephants want to restore their honor at the African Championships and perhaps restore the victories from 1992 and 2015.

They defeated Equatorial Guinea 0-3 in the quarterfinals in 2012 with a pair of Didier Drogba and a goal by Yaya Toure, and their big shoes are now being filled by Sebastian Haller and Frank Cassia.

Around them are many other well-known names, including Serge Oriya, Eric Bay, Max Gradel, Nicolas Pepe, Wilfried Zaha and others.

Tunisia - Mali 1: 0

Although the championship is only in the first round, it seems that no one will be able to break the bizarre record set here until the end of the tournament. The Zambian referee, Jani Sikazwa, only accidentally whistled for the end of the game in the 85th minute, and resumed the game only after the Tunisian bench caught his attention and he mistakenly admitted. To the astonishment of the Tunisians, Sikazwa whistled once more to end the game about 15 seconds before the 90th minute ended, and this time the decision was final. The Tunisian camp found it difficult to make the decision and complained to Sikazwa, but it did not help.

Even before the bizarre event, there was also football, mostly from the penalty spot.

In 10 games so far in the championship only 10 goals have been scored, with four of them being on penalties.

Ibrahima Kuna scored from 11 yards out Mali's winning goal in the 48th minute, Wahbi Hazari missed his own penalty in the 76th minute.

The referee also managed to keep El Bilal Tora away from Mali in the 87th minute, between his two whistles and the end.

In light of the relative weakness of the other two teams in the House, this is a significant result when it comes to the struggle for the House presidency.

Mauritania - Gambia (18:00)

In 2019 Mauritania made its debut in the continental championship, and was part of an almost identical home: it started with a 4: 1 defeat to Mali and then finished with 0: 0 with England and with the same result with Tunisia.

She will meet Mali and Tunisia later, and first of all she hopes to pass the Gambia which makes its tournament debut and features three Serie A players: Omar Cola (Sampdoria), Abrima Darbu (Rome) and Musa Barrow (Bologna).
