The event marked the many achievements of the athletes from the World and European Championships from the past year, and put a spotlight on the athletes who qualified and represented the State of Israel at the 2022 World Games, which will be held this July in Birmingham, USA.

Outstanding athletes from the past year have won a scholarship as a token of appreciation for their sporting achievements.

In the jiu jitsu industry, the world champion and the reigning European champion stood out - Vicky Dabush, Nimrod Ryder won a silver medal in the same competition, Meshi Rosenfeld and Roni Neissman won a bronze medal, who also achieved the criterion and will compete in the 2022 World Games.

"The last year has been tough, all the competitions and flights abroad combined with the corona and studies," Rosenfeld said. "But it was a good year and I am proud of my achievements especially in entering world games.

Can't wait to get there. "

Arik Kaplan, President of the "Eilat" Association: "Once a year we get to see all our athletes, coaches and coaches together. Also this year, despite the many difficulties that the Corona presents to us, we have stood up to them.

"The annual Eilat Excellence Ceremony is a great opportunity for us to say thank you to the athletes and their coaches for their hard work during the year, and of course to award them scholarships for outstanding achievements that have earned us - standing on the podium and hoping for major championships around the world.

"I am proud that the Eilat Association has the largest number of medalists, and we hope that the number will increase. This year is the year of the 'World Games' and we do everything to bring out the highest quality delegation that will represent the State of Israel in the best way."
